Education Systems On December 31, 1968, the Wallaceburg High School Board dissolved as a result of a reorganization plan, whereby jurisdiction was vested to the newly created Kent County Board of Education. Wallaceburg District Secondary became the largest school in the county. It also became a leader provincially. The Community School program as well as the Technology and Trades Centre served as models for other jurisdictions.
